23rd January 2013 Snowboarding: clent Wind Direction: Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: overcast Max Speed: Distance Covered: well with all this snow it'd be rude not too. been out snowboarding everyday since friday at a small local hill a short walk from my house, just come in about an hour ago 4pm....snow on first few days was very dry and some of the runs you went down to grass level, but as the days have gone on the runs were getting better and faster. some local sledgers had spotted me and the wife and daughter and started to use the same hill, bugger i thought but infact they compressed the snow with there plastic slegdes and made the runs better and faster. today was the best though with hard snow base and 2 inches of fresh snow on top, just need the wind to pick up i can then change hills and snowkite but it's got to be a N/E wind. fingers crossed for next few days, as i'll be off work and playing |
